Most "Indians" don't think about it, but we of the Celtic and Germanic tribes (you call us "whites") were once like you were 150-200 years ago. What we did to you, the cultural and physical genocide, was done to us also by the Romans and their Christian carpetbaggers starting 2,000-1,500 years ago. They infected us with what I call the "Nothingness," and we've been doing its bidding ever since. For example, in our tribes the women were primarily the "people of power" or the medicine men. In the 15th and 16th century, nearly 1 million people of power (mainly women) were burned at the stake as "witches." That's just a small example of the genocide we've done to ourselves as the "Nothingness" subdued the "Old Ways." Please visit my site and read my "cyber-novel." Hey, we all need to "go back to the blanket," not just the "Indians."

Tena ra korua, greetings to you both in my language (Maori). You have both done well & I congradulate you working together as a couple. Your work is beautiful & inspiring to a person like me who is also an artist. What is even more extraordinary for me is that we have an ancestor, my great great grandfather who migrated here to nz around the 1870 period & married here. I am also of hunkpapa heritage. My siblings & I are trying to trace ourselves back in his footsteps to our homeland. Keep the great work up. Hei konei ra! Maakarita
