Isaiah; I was asked to do a painting for the World Christian Gathering of Indigenous peoples. This was a challenge I was told beforehand to be careful because people throughout the world knew very little of the Indigenous peoples of America. That our symbolism could quite possibly be looked upon as paganism or symbols of the devil!
Behold the eagle! We see the eagle as a messenger from Wakan Tanka (Big holy) God Creator. The eagle is mentioned in the bible Isaiah; 40:31.
